What should I do?

Okay, you have enough to worry about with ever-changing curriculum, differentiated instruction and Common Core standards. Are you now expected to be a copyright lawyer too?
  • Since the specific rules governing each format differ, you need to be very familiar with the rules governing those formats that most closely impact your subject area.
  • If you are a music teacher, memorize the section of the CCPS Copyright Policy and Guidelines that deals with sheet and recorded music.
  • If you are an English teacher, the section on printed materials will pertain more closely to you.

However, some of the multi-media technologies impact every subject area. Let's look more closely at a few of them.
